Year 1 Naturopathy and Herbal Medicine module information

Desired Outcome

The desired outcome for year one students is to gain a thorough grounding in both natural medicine history and philosophy and core subjects that lead into further intensive study in years two and three. The human body is studied in detail and general fundamental knowledge is gained in herbal medicine, nutrition and wellness concepts. There is focus on developing personal well-being, and setting in place the philosophy of “physician heal thyself”. Many practical skills for illness prevention and wellness maintenance are developed.
